are your courses over ZOOM or other digital channels?We always get excited to meet up in real life. We've partnered with Lina's Italian Piazza in Calgary to host our live events.

if I sign up for a course or service and I change my mind, can I cancel and get a full refund?We get it, life changes on a dime. We accepts cancellations up to 14 days prior to the program start date and we will apply a credit against a future workshop or event to be used within 364 days. If not used within the 364 days, the credit is considered null and void. All cancellation requests must be emailed to cheryl@thelolascollective.com

will you work with me to identify areas where I can improve my business?Yes, through our complimentary intake session. Be prepared to provide information & data on your business.

I am interested in your mentorship program. how does the matching process work?Congratulations! You are investing in yourself and your business. All mentors and mentees are carefully screened and as new mentors join we profile them on our website. During the intake process, we also identify key information of mentees. To kick off our session, we host a speed connector event where mentors and mentees meet. Participants identify 5 individuals who they connected with. If both mentors and mentees have selected each other, we work on ensuring the fit is there for each match.

why are you focused on governments grants?Like trying to find a needle in a haystack, government grants can be challenging to navigate… we see the opportunities and know there is money out there for entrepreneurs. We assist with this process and have experience with grant writing and submissions.

what is an outcome framework?Great question! We often get caught up in a "to do" list. However it is imperative that we stop and ensure all efforts leads to the intended outcome. Focusing on outcomes will result in achieving your business goals.

is a one page strategy enough?Yes! Less is more. The more concise your strategy is, the more focused you will remain. However the process of getting to 1 pager is comprehensive.
